Air Astana has ordered two Embraer 190 ‘E-jets’.
November 17: Kazakhstan national carrier Air Astana has ordered two Embraer 190 ‘E-jet’ aircraft through US aircraft leasing company Jetscape, Inc., based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Air Astana will be the first operator of an E-Jet in Central Asia and will operate the 190s in a dual-class layout, featuring nine seats in first class and 88 in economy. The jets will be delivered in the first quarter of 2011.
