New Hunter Unleashed

The Hunter F.6/FGA.9 from Just Flight is out now.

This FSX/Prepar3D collection features the F.6 and FGA.9 ground attack fighter variant, each with their own virtual cockpit representative of the type as operated by the RAF.

Features include 13 paint schemes, covering both British and overseas air forces, authentic sounds and animations including the correct landing gear sequence, flap actions, airbrake, canopy and an animated pilot.

Other details include a deployable braking parachute on the FGA.9, retractable reticle gunsight, 3D gauges and accurately modelled electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems.  The engine fan is visible through the intake mouths and the models feature other detailed areas such as flap recesses and gear wells. External animations include boarding steps, wheel chocks, pre-flight flags, and a GPU (Ground Power Unit).

Brief history
The Hunter entered RAF service as an interceptor and was the first jet-powered aircraft designed by Hawker and was sold to air forces around the world.  First flown in 1951, the last example in military service was retired more than 60 years later, in 2014.
