Orbx has released FTX ENNK Narvik for FSX.
Narvik is a regional airport in Framnes, Northern Norway is operated by the state-owned Avinor and served by Widerøe. It is regularly used by Lufttransport, who operates air ambulance helicopters along with a Beechcraft King Air. The approach and landing at ENNK can be a thrilling experience, with only 900m runway (800m landing distance) and sea on both sides.
The package, developed by Tore Stranden, comes with a 1m resolution terrain model for airport and city along with hand-crafted airport ground textures. The surrounding area is modelled in photoreal detail including a helipad in the Narvik mountains. Other features include a 10m terrain mesh, full seasonal variations, custom trees and grass along with most Orbx Flow technologies.
Airport building textures were created from onsite photography of the actual buildings. Other features include unique static aircraft models, custom animated windsock (P3D only) and night lighting for the city and airport.
FTX ENNK Narvik is designed to blend seamlessly with FTX Norway but can also be used with FTX Global BASE.
