Turks order yet more A330s

Turkish Airlines has ordered more Airbus A330s.

November 8: Following the successful first flight of its A330-200F, Airbus has confirmed that Turkish Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire two aircraft as the beginning of its plan to replace its fleet of four A310 freighters.

At the same time Turkish ordered three additional Airbus A330-300s, bringing the total ordered recently by the airline to ten. The aircraft, due for delivery from September 2010, will be powered by Rolls-Royce engines.
