Turkish Airlines signs for seven Airbus A330s

Turkish Airlines sign a purchase contract for seven Airbus A330-300s.

August 18: Turkish Airlines firmed up the Memorandum of Understanding agreed with Airbus during the Paris Airshow by signing a purchase contract for seven Airbus A330-300s.

Turkish Airlines currently has a fleet of 67 Airbus aircraft, including five A310s, 46 A320 family aircraft, seven A330s and nine A340s. The A330-300s will be delivered from September 2010 and configured to carry 289 passengers in a two-class arrangement.
