KAVX Catalina Airport, by Orbx is now available for FSX and Prepar3D.
Located on Catalina island, about 22 miles (35 km) south-southwest of Los Angeles, California, it is also known as the ‘Airport in the Sky’ due to the fact it lies near the island’s highest point and is quite often above the clouds
The package from Orbx was designed by Tim Harris and Ken Hall and covers the KAVX Catalina Airport and the island of Santa Catalina in 7cm and 30cm photoreal textures, 5m terrain mesh and custom autogen
Many points of interest have been covered including piers, docks and heliports, such as Pebbly Beach heliport and Wrigley Marine Science helipad.
