Flight Angels 2016, which takes place on September 16 to 18, is an aviation event providing an opportunity to come together to experience some online flying whilst helping some wonderful charities.
If you have Microsoft FSX you can join the events team as they fly around the world in 23 one-hour legs, using a different aircraft to take off from and land at iconic locations. Or you can fly yourself or with friends in any one of our event legs at any time.
The event also offers you an opportunity to experience some extraordinary feats of aviation with some of the greatest pilots in the world including an historic Concorde flight and an F-16 flight experience with legendary Air Force ace, Doug ‘Bubbles’ Champagne.
All money raised from Flight Angels 2016 will be shared between the following charities:
Over the Wall, a UK children’s charity that provides free of charge residential activity camps to help children with life-limiting illnesses significantly increase their confidence, self-esteem, coping strategies and peer relationships. These transformational, fun-filled camps are truly life-changing for children who are often isolated and miss out on typical childhood experiences.
The SeriousFun Children’s Network, a network of international residential activity camps that create opportunities for children and their families to reach beyond serious illness and discover joy, confidence and a new world of possibilities.
Vision of Flight, a US based organization dedicated to providing students, often from an economically disadvantaged background, with an introduction to careers in aeronautics.
