Moscow Out Now

Drzewiecki Design has released Moscow City X for FSX and Prepar3D.

The package is a detailed recreation of the Moscow metropolitan area and includes seven ‘lite’ airports, several heliports and thousands of buildings. The project took almost a year to complete and is designed to be FPS/VAS-friendly using advanced optimization techniques. It covers approximately 4000 sq.km with seasonal and night photorealistic terrain at a 50cm/pixel resolution in the centre and 1m/pixel for the rest with autogen and custom mesh.

Moscow centre has been modelled in in 3D along with major landmarks such as museums, palaces, skyscrapers, towers, bridges, railway stations and Zara stores – almost 2000 custom-made buildings and objects with night textures have been included.

The Red Square and Kremlin have been modelled in detail with a newly constructed heliport and an animated clock on Spasska tower. It even comes with a Red Square Landing Mission – a realistic recreation of Mathias Rust ‘s 1987 landing with narration and special animations as well as a customized default Cessna 172, D-ECJB, with auxiliary fuel tanks.

The scenery is compatible with popular add-on packages including UUWW Vnukovo, UUDD Domodedovo, UUBW Zhukovski, UUMO Ostafyevo, UUBM Myachkovo and UUMB Kubinka.

Demo version is available featuring the same airport layout as in the full version, but with limited 3D objects and low resolution textures.
