New African airline to use Embraer jets

African start-up scheduled airline SEAA has bought two Embraer ERJ 135s and one ERJ 145.

October 13: African start-up scheduled airline Serviços Executivos Aéreos de Angola (SEAA) has bought two Embraer ERJ 135 and one ERJ 145 pre-owned jets from ECC Leasing Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Embraer.

SEAA intends to initially operate the aircraft on domestic routes. The ERJ 135s will be configured in a 37-seat layout, while the ERJ 145 will have 50 seats. They will be based at SEAA’s main airport in Lubango, operating to Luanda, Cabinda, Ondjiva, and Saurimo.
