SunExpress orders more Next-Generation 737s

July 7: Turkish airline SunExpress has ordered six Next-Generation 737-800s from Boeing in a $460 million deal.

SunExpress is a scheduled and charter carrier serving the Turkish tourist market, and was founded in 1989 as a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. It currently operates an all-Boeing fleet of 19 aircraft, 16 of which are Next-Generation 737-800s alongside three 757s.
