The F-35B may not have made it to RIAT and Farnborough, but the Textron Airland Scorpion was there.
Textron Airland’s Scorpion ISR/light attack jet made the transatlantic trip to exhibit in the two shows. The aircraft offers procurement at less than $20m and according to the manufacturer can be operated at less than $3,000 per hour, a fraction of the cost of an F-16 for example.
