Premium Upgrades for Hawaiian

Hawaiian Airlines has received the first Airbus A330 with its upgraded onboard product.  The new Premium Cabin has 18 lie-flat seats which fold into 180° beds.  It also features island-inspired designs and is configured in a 2-2-2 layout.  Passengers meanwhile will have access to multiple power ports including two USB connections and one A/C outlet.

“Our custom-built fully lie-flat seats and our new Premium Cabin redefine the leisure travel experience to Hawaii,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian’s president and CEO.  “In details little and large we’ve crafted a new seat and a new cabin to look after our guests in unparalleled comfort, accompanied by the authenticity and warmth of our in-flight Hawaiian hospitality.”

Large-format tables for the in-flight entertainment system are positioned on an adjustable telescoping arm for optimal viewing angle and comfort.
Hawaiian has also introduced 28 additional Extra Comfort seats.  They feature a 36in (91cm) pitch, and passengers enjoy priority boarding at the gate, complimentary on-demand in-seat entertainment and a personal power outlet.

The newly configured jets can carry 278 passengers – 18 in the Premium Cabin, 68 in Extra Comfort and 192 in the Main Cabin (seat pitch 31in/79cm).
